Instructions:

1.A seat marked with a roll number shall be allotted to each candidate. 

The candidates shall be required to   find out and occupy the seats allotted 

to them before 15 minutes

2.No candidate shall be allowed to leave his/her seat or the examination 

hall/room until 11.30 a.m. in the   1st session and 3.00 p.m. in  2nd Session.

3.No candidate who is late by more than 10 minutes, shall be admitted to

 the examination.

4.The use of calculators & Log Tables is not permitted. Any electronic 

devices including Cellular, Mobile,Satellite Phone,Pager etc. are not 

allowed in Examination Hall/Room under any circumstances .

5.Any candidate found guilty of using unfair means of any nature in 

the examination hall/room shall be    liable to be disqualified.

6.Each candidate shall have to produce his/her Admit Card/ID 

proof on demand by the Invigilator.

7.The candidate must fill in the appropriate circle clearly with 

blue/black ink ball point pen only.

Use of white fluid for correction in OMR Response Sheet is not permitted.

8.The candidate has to respond to  the  questions in the OMR  Sheet only.

 If the ‘       ’ darkening  is done at    any other place in the OMR Sheet, 

it will not be evaluated. The  candidate should fill his/her response in 

 the OMR Sheet after  careful thought. Once marked, no change in 

the response shall be permitted. More    than one Response is also not allowed.

JEE -2013

                                 JEE (Main) Examination, 2013 for admissions to B.E./B.Tech courses at NITs, IIITs, DTU, Delhi and other CFTIs will be held during April, 2013.The examination for admissions to B.Arch/B.Planning courses at NITs, IIITs, DTU, Delhi and other CFTIs will be held on 7th April, 2013.The JEE (Main) for B.E./B.Tech will be held in two modes, viz offline and online (CBT). 

The offline examination for JEE (Main) will be held on 7th April, 2013 and the online examinations will be held thereafter in April, 2013.

The examination for admissions to B.Arch/B.Planning courses at NITs, IIITs, DTU, Delhi and other CFTIs will be held on 7th April, 2013 in offline mode only.

The merit list for admission to NITs, IIITs, DTU, Delhi and other CFTIs will be prepared by giving 40% weightage (suitably normalised) to class XII (or equivalent examination) or other qualifying examination marks and 60% to the performance in JEE (Main) Examination.

NEET -2013

          The admissions to MBBS and BDS courses in the Medical colleges/Institutions in the state from the academic year 2013 will be on the basis of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test [NEET-UG].

The students who wish to get admission for MBBS/BDS courses in Kerala shall have to participate in NEET-UG and obtain minimum eligibility marks as prescribed,for getting admissions to MBBS/BDS courses.

All the candidates who seek admissions for MBBS/BDS courses 2013 under NEET 2013 should also apply for allotment /admission to the commissioner for Entrance Examinations indicating their application number and other available particulars of NEET(UG)-2013.

The students who are included in the ranklist of NEET (UG)-2013 for the state of kerala ,furnished by the CBSE will only be considered for the allotment of seats in MBBS/BDS courses.

HSE +1 Improvement Examination 2012

           The Higher Secondary First Year Improvement / Supplementary Examination of September 2012 will commence with effect from 17-09-2012 (Monday) as per the time table. The Examination will be conducted in all the Examination centers in Kerala  provided for the conduct of First Year Higher Secondary Examination March 2012.

Candidates who have appeared for all the six subjects at the First Year Higher Secondary Examination, March 2012 can register in this examination for unto three subjects for improving his / her scores in those subjects

Candidates appearing for First Year Improvement examination in Biology should attend both Botany and Zoology papers.

   

Last date for submission of Application Form : 13.08.2012. 

Fee for Improvement Examination Rs. 125/-per paper and Fee for Certificate Rs. 20/-.

                                                          The results of the First Year Higher Secondary Examination, March 2012 is published.The students who have complaints or doubts about their results can apply for Revaluation & Scrutiny for all subjects.The fee for Revaluation and Scrutiny are Rs. 400/- and Rs.75/- per subject respectively. The application should be submitted to the Principals of the schools where the candidates have registered for the examination. The last date for the submission of application is .....The prescribed application form can be had from the schools or from the department portal. The applications will not be received directly in the Directorate..

Submission of Application

The cost of the application form is Rs 10. Application forms are available in all the government and aided higher secondary schools in the state. There are separate application forms and prospectus for each revenue district. And for the same reason a candidate who seeks admission in the schools in a revenue district should obtain the application form and prospectus from any of the schools in that revenue district and submit the filled in application in any of the schools in the same district. The prospectus obtained from one district will contain the school details of that district only. If a candidate seeks admission in more than one revenue district he/she should submit separate applications for each district. Candidates should not submit more than one application in a district for Single Window Admission. After submission of the application form in the school the candidates should obtain the acknowledgement slip duly signed by the Principal and affixed with the school seal. The candidates should keep this acknowledgement slip with them till they get permanent admission. The slip is essential for all further enquiries on the application.Self attested photostat copies of SSLC and certificates in proof of eligibility for bonus points and other benefits, if claimed by the applicant, should be enclosed along with the application form. Those who passed SSLC in the year 2012 in Kerala State Syllabus are permitted to submit the internet copy of the mark list along with the application instead of the copy of the original certificate. Applicants need not submit separate certificates in proof of caste, religion, local body, taluk etc. if these details are there in SSLC. However the candidates should submit self attested copies of relevant certificates if they claim benefits the proof of which is not there in SSLC.

Help Desk

A help desk consisting of higher secondary teachers and PTA representatives willfunction at every school till the closure of admission. This help desk will advise students in matters like filling up of the application form, verification of application details etc. The Principal will supervise the activities of the help desk at school level. There will also be help desks at district, regional, and state levels for the guidance of both teachers and students in matters of admission process. The district, regional and state level help desks will function under the guidance of the District Co-ordinator (Higher Secondary Education), Regional DeputyDirector and Joint Director(Academic) respectively.
